‘How you can spend your Personal Budget’ consultation
by kb205 - July 15, 2010 – 12:24 pmA Personal Budget is the money allocated to people who are eligible for social care funding to meet their personal goals or outcomes identified in their support plan.
A workshop was held at Nottinghamshire County Council with service users, carers, staff, and members to discuss the implications of spending a Personal Budget and agreeing the proposed principles.
Feedback from the event showed the majority of people who attended supported the proposed principles.
We want to find out what you think of the proposed principles on how people in Nottinghamshire can spend their Personal Budget.
- legal,
- sustainable, affordable and
- must meet the outcomes identified in their support plan.
· Do you agree with the proposed principles?
· Is there anything you would like to add or change about the proposed principles?
· Do you think you would be able to work with these principles in the support planning process?
· Any general comments
